Hang in there! The job market is rough, and for marketers starting out, you have to pay your dues and put in time to get experience and develop a track record. When I started out, it was really tough, I made (what I felt like) was pennies. I couldn’t afford to pay all my bills.
Fortunately, six years later, my situation has vastly improved. I am happy to report my hourly wage has increased nearly 300%. Hang in there! It may suck now, but take on tough projects, develop new skills, and make yourself more marketable. That job that pay’s pennies can provide you the skills to pay the bills.
